Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a natural product derived from hemp plants. It is one of the cannabinoids, natural chemicals, found in the marijuana plant, but unlike the other cannabinoid THC, it doesn’t create a “high” effect.
CBD oil is available in three types, created with a different extraction method: full spectrum, broad spectrum and CBD isolate.
Full spectrum CBD oil
Full spectrum CBD offers the complete benefits of CBD with all its natural elements. This means full spectrum can contain THC, but less than 0.3%, so there are no psychoactive effects. Full spectrum CBD is the least processed type of CBD you can get.
Broad spectrum CBD oil
Broad spectrum offers all the same benefits as the full spectrum CBD. It contains all of the natural elements and cannabinoids of the hemp plant with the exception of THC. This means you can enjoy the effects of CBD free from any chance of psychoactive effects.
CBD isolate contains solely pure, isolated CBD without any other cannabinoids, terpenes, or flavonoids. Isolate CBD often comes as a powder which makes it easy to use with other liquids. We offer various products that are made with isolate CBD so you can be sure to get your dose of pure CBD free from terpenes and THC.
How to use CBD oil
CBD oil is one of the most potent products on the market, as it gets into your bloodstream straight away. Simply place a few drops under your tongue for instant relief. But you can also add a few drops to your drinks or food, if you don’t like to take it sublingually.
CBD spray is the perfect way to easily dose your CBD oil. Most sprays contain less CBD than regular tinctures making sprays very suitable for microdosing. The average amount of CBD per spray is 2 mg where most high quality CBD tinctures offer 10 mg or more per serving.
