An easy way to incorporate CBD into your daily routine, CBD oil is a natural product derived from hemp plants. CBD oil is available in three types, each created with different extraction methods: full spectrum, broad spectrum and CBD isolate. Read on for a quick overview of the three types, or check out our full breakdown here!

Full spectrum CBD oil

The least processed form of CBD oil, this type is extracted in a way that maintains all or most of a cannabis plant’s natural compounds. These oils provide all of cannabis’s natural benefits via the entourage effect, and preserve the unique flavors of the strains they’re derived from. While full spectrum oils can contain THC, their content is less than 0.3%, so they won’t get you “high.”

Broad spectrum CBD oil

Like full spectrum oils, broad spectrum oils contain all the natural compounds of a cannabis plant. The difference between these types, however, is that broad spectrum oils are processed to contain no THC whatsoever. This means that these oils have no chance of appearing on a THC drug test.

CBD isolate

The purest form of CBD, CBD isolate oils contain only CBD without any other natural cannabis compounds like flavors, aromas, or THC. These oils are best for those concerned with THC drug testing, or for those who dislike cannabis’s natural flavor.

How to Use CBD Oil & CBD Oil Spray

CBD Tinctures

CBD tinctures are one of the most potent and effective CBD products on the market, as they enter your bloodstream right away. To take CBD oil, simple place a few drops under your tongue for fast relief! If you want to get creative, or don’t enjoy the flavor of CBD oils, you can also add a few drops to your drinks or food!

CBD spray

For more controlled dosing, try a CBD oil spray! Most sprays contain less CBD than regular tinctures, making them very suitable for micro-dosing. The average amount of CBD per spray is 2 mg, where most high-quality CBD tinctures offer 10 mg or more per serving.

What does CBD stand for?

CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol. Which is one of the cannabinoids found in the marijuana and hemp plant.

How does CBD make you feel?

CBD doesn't give the same effects to everyone. Most people say CBD gives them a calm and relaxing feeling whereas others don't notice any effects of using CBD. This however doesn't mean they don't notice the benefits.

Does CBD get you high?

No, it does not. CBD products typically don't contain enough THC to get you high. The effects of CBD aren't psychoactive and give a high or a body high. If you want to be sure you can't have any psychoactive effects from CBD you can always go for isolate CBD which doesn't contain any cannabinoids apart from CBD.

How long does CBD last?

On average depending on the dosage CBD effects last somewhere between 2 and 8 hours.

How long does CBD take to work?

If you ingest CBD oil the effects of CBD start within 15 minutes. Other ways of consuming CBD such as vaping might take a bit longer.

Our favorite CBD oil brands are Allo CBD, Blue Label, Canna River, Green Roads, Moon Mother and Pacific.
